Overview

The Ironshroom (181 in the Hyrule Compendium) is a type of mushroom and material found in Breath of the Wild. This mushroom will restore ½ of a heart when eaten raw, but can be increased to ¾ of a heart if Link decides to cook it into a Toasty Ironshroom over an open flame. Ironshrooms can be used in a variety of Recipes, and they have an extra cooking effect of increased defense. Ironshrooms can also be used to create Brown Dye at the Kochi Dye Shop in Hateno Village.

Location

While Ironshrooms can be found in isolated locations throughout Hyrule, they are must abundant in the southeast portion of the map, appearing frequently in the Dueling Peaks, Hateno, Lake, and Faron regions. They are most abundantly found in the forest area surrounded Batrea Lake, in the Dueling Peaks.

For Purchase

Link can purchase Ironshrooms from the Spore Store, located in Korok Forest. There are four of them for sale and are available at a cost of 20 rupees a piece.

Link can purchase Ironshrooms from Ardin in Gerudo Town. She runs Ardin's General Store, which specializes in selling mushrooms. Ironshrooms are available for 16 rupees a piece.
