To fuse weapons, first select a character, then select a weapon to enhance as a base. Then select up to five other weapons to use as fusing material. Weapons that are locked or currently equipped can be enhanced but cannot be used as material. The price in [[Rupee]]s depends on the type of weapon used as a base multiplied by the number of weapons (regardless of type) used as material.

Each weapon used as a material provides a certain amount of EXP to the base weapon. When the base weapon receives enough EXP to level up, its damage increases by a set amount, regardless of the materials used. At level 5, a weapon gains a second slot for bonus effects.
Each weapon used as a material provides a certain amount of [[Experience Point|EXP]] to the base weapon. There is a chance that the fusion will be a great success, which grants additional EXP. When the base weapon receives enough EXP to level up, its damage increases by a set amount, regardless of the materials used. Additional slots for seals are unlocked at levels 5, 10, and 20, for a total of four at level 20. After raising the level limit, additional pre-determined seals are added at levels 25 and 30.

If a weapon used as a material has bonus effects, the first effect will transfer to the base weapon. If the base weapon does not have an available slot for the effect, then it won't be applied until the weapon unlocks a slot for it. If multiple effects are queued in this way, new slots are filled in the order that the effects were fused.
If the base weapon has an open seal slot, or will have one as a result of leveling up from the fusion, it will be filled by the first seal on the first weapon used as fusion material that has a seal. If multiple slots are open, they are filled in the order the material weapons are selected, using only one seal per weapon. If a new slot unexpectedly opens due to a great success, it will not be filled.

Combining seals of the same category, denoted by the shape of the seal icon, yields a bonus to both weapon damage and seal effect. Two seals of the same category give +5 damage, and four give +15 damage. These can be stacked for up to +20 bonus damage. The displayed damage on the weapon includes this bonus—e.g. "76 +5" does not mean 81, and would be 71 without the bonus.

====Tips====
Scenarios with a higher recommended level reward higher-tier weapons with more base damage and better seals. Try to find and use a weapon with the "Improves Quality of Found Weapons" seal to further improve found weapons.

When you find a weapon with the "Fusion Material EXP" seal, fuse other weapons into it while adding other circle-type seals to further increase the EXP bonus. Then you can fuse it into any other weapon for a massive EXP boost.

If you're low on rupees, you can fuse extra weapons into a lower-tier weapon to cheaply store up EXP. Later you can fuse it into a higher-tier weapon, paying the higher cost only once. Combine this with "Fusion Material EXP" for even more efficiency.

Hylian Blacksmith Guild

The Hylian Blacksmith Guild is a service in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity where the player can fuse or sell weapons. It becomes available after completing the Road to the Ancient Lab scenario in Chapter 1, and is unlocked by providing 5 Ironshrooms to complete the Brawny Blacksmiths quest. Fuse Weapons

To fuse weapons, first select a character, then select a weapon to enhance as a base. Then select up to five other weapons to use as fusing material. Weapons that are locked or currently equipped can be enhanced but cannot be used as material. The price in Rupees depends on the type of weapon used as a base multiplied by the number of weapons (regardless of type) used as material.

Each weapon used as a material provides a certain amount of EXP to the base weapon.

1 Seals with gold borders do not have + or ++ variants.
2 Hidden Seal (Lv. 25 or 30) only.

Tips

Sell

To sell weapons, select a character, then select any number of weapons to sell, then press +. Weapons that are locked or currently equipped cannot be sold.

Weapons with the "High-Resell Weapon" seal are marked with a star, and fetch proportionately more rupees.[How much more?]
