Horon Lagoon is a location found in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
Breath of the Wild
The Horon Lagoon an inlet in the side of Lanayru Bay. It is most notable for the series of natural wind currents which swirl throughout. The area is filled with enemy Blue Lizalfos and Water Octoroks.
Just east of the large rock structure, there is a circle of smaller rocks. Link can pickup one of the large rocks from the higher elevation and toss it into the circle to get a Korok Seed. A second Korok can be found just northwest of the Lagoon. Link can use Magnesis to complete the block puzzle, causing the Korok to appear. A treasure chest can be found right next to this Korok as well, buried underground. It can be pulled out with Magnesis and it contains a Purple Rupee.
At the south end of the lagoon, there is a treasure chest in the water near a bunch of rocks. Link can lift it up with Magnesis and open it to get a Ruby gem.
Master of the Wind
- Main article: Master of the Wind
Kass can be found playing his accordion at the Lagoon and when spoken to, this will begin the Master of the Wind quest. Link will need to blowup the four boulders in the area, causing the wind to flow through the rock in the center of the lagoon and causing the pedestal to turn orange. Link can then glide from the large rock, using the Paraglider and wind currents to land on the pedestal. This will reveal the Shai Yota Shrine and complete the shrine quest.

Nearby Korok Seeds
Throw a rock into the circle of rocks. This is one time where Cryonis probably isn't needed.
Bomb the rock pile and pick up the rock underneath.
Use Magnesis to solve the block puzzle.
Tears of the Kingdom
The Haron Lagoon can be found well southeast of Zora's Domain where it connects with the Lanayru Bay. In the lagoon there are some Armored Porgy and Mighty Porgy swimming around, along with some numerous crabs.
At the west side of the lagoon Benny can be seen fighting off a Blue Bokoblin. She is in the area as she is searching for a Geoglyph, which can be found just to the east at the Talus Plateau.
Horon Lagoon Cave

At the far north end of the lagoon, there is a hole in the ground, leading down to the Horon Lagoon Cave. Inside there is a treasure chest deep in the cave, which contains the Rubber Tights.
Korok Seeds
- At the far south end of the lagoon there are some red arrows to a rock in the center of the area. Climb up and examine the sparkling lights to get the Korok Seed.
- In the center of the lagoon there is a tall rock structure with wind blowing out of it. On top of it, step on the tree stump to create a yellow circle well to the north. Jump off and use the Paraglider along with the wind to push Link to the yellow circle, well to the north to get the Korok Seed.
