Hestu is a character in Breath of the Wild. He is a large Korok who plays the maracas.
Hestu is looking for his fellow Koroks, but is also worried due to losing his prized Maracas. After Link retrieves them from some Bokbolins nearby, Hestu will expand Link's inventory slots (weapon, shield, and bow) in exchange for Korok Seeds. One Korok Seed is needed for the first expansion, two are needed for the second expansion, and so on. Each pouch can be upgraded up to twenty-four times.
Hestu can originally be found on the path north of Dueling Peaks Stable and the Kakariko Bridge. Later, he stands near the Woodland Stable, and will finally move to the Korok Forest.
