The Hero's New Clothes are an unlockable in The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker that changes Link's appearance. The clothes are described as being visible only to those who are honest (a joke since the player cannot see them). They allow you to see Link in his original Outset Island clothes throughout the entire game.
To acquire them, you must complete the game and create a second hero's quest save file. Start the save file as normal and when you would normally acquire the Hero's Clothes, you will obtain the Hero's New Clothes.
Phantom Hourglass
They also appear in Phantom Hourglass as the first item in the game's trading sequence, which in the end grants Link the Swordsman's Scroll, giving him the ability to execute the Great Spin Attack.
