Hard Ore is a quest item in Oracle of Seasons. It is received after Link obtains the Red Ore and Blue Ore, which can only be obtained with the Magnetic Gloves. Once obtaining the two ores, Link must have them forged together at the Great Furnace, making the Hard Ore. Link can then take the Hard Ore to the Subrosian Smithy were the master will forge it into the Iron Shield.
