Hanu Pond is a location in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

The Pond is located a bit northwest of Lurelin Village near Mount Taran. At the east side of the pond, there are some old ruins with a treasure chest that contains a Giant Boomerang. A Rusty Shield and Rusty Claymore can be found on the floor in the shallow water. At the northwest part of the pond, there are some Blue Bokoblin that can be found patrolling the area. At the far northwest end of the pond, there are some Fleet-Lotus Seeds growing in the shallow water.

The Three Giant Brothers

Main article: The Three Giant Brothers

The Hanu Pond plays an important role in The Three Giant Brothers shrine quest. Sleeping in the center of the pond is the Hinox (Youngest Kin), a Red Hinox. The Hinox has an Ancient Orb around its neck that Link must collect and then bring it back to the pedestal located to the east. When Link brings back the orbs from the Rabella Wetlands and Uten Marsh as well, this will complete the shrine quest, revealing the Tawa Jinn Shrine.

Tears of the Kingdom

The Hanu Pond can be found just northeast of the Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower. The pond has shallow water, not deep enough for any fish-life to survive. In the center of the area a giant Stalnox will appear at nighttime.

The Koto Pond can be found just to the northwest and just in between them, Addison can be found holding up a Hudson Sign. Link can cut down some nearby trees and assemble the Logs to hold up the sign. As a reward, Addison will give Link a Red Rupee, some Electro Mushroom Rice Balls, and a Muddle Bud.
