The Great Rupee Fairy is a Great Fairy who appears in A Link Between Worlds. Her fountain is located in a cave north of the Bomb Flower Store in Lorule. Link must use the Big Bomb Flower to clear the rock blocking its entrance.

When Link approaches the fountain, the fairy is nowhere in sight, but she asks if he wishes to throw Rupees into the fountain.[1] Link has the option to throw in 50, 200, or no Rupees. If he leaves without throwing in Rupees, she wishes him good fortune regardless.[2] Even if Link is unable to donate Rupees, she tells him that his thoughts are still appreciated.[3]

For every 200 Rupees after the first 200, she heals and summons normal Fairies to fly around the fountain. The number of fairies and how much health she heals depends on how many Rupees in total he has thrown into the fountain. She gradually grows in size. Finally, after Link throws in a total of 3000 Rupees or more, she appears in full size and thanks him for helping her grow. She then offers him a Bottle for his trouble.[4] After he reaches or exceeds 3000 Rupees, Link can no longer speak to the Great Rupee Fairy, but four regular fairies still populate the cave.
