A stone in Ocarina of Time that either tells you the time or when you are wearing the mask of truth tells you gossip
Without the mask
The stone will only tell you the time when you hit it. And when you select the stone you will be told that the stones stare is piercing into you.
With the mask
When Link wears the mask of truth the stone will still tell him the time when he hits it. But when Link selects the stone it will tell him gossip. The gossip is ussually a helpful hint.
