The Golden Era takes place after the resurrection and defeat of Ganon in Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons. Link's Awakening takes place within this era. It is before The Monarchs of Hyrule use the Triforce, and is also before the tragedy of Princess Zelda the first. It is before the Era of Decline and The Legend of Zelda and The Adventure of Link.
