Gold Rupees, also known as Huge Rupees, Big Gold Rupees or Golden Rupees, are a unit of currency appearing in many titles in the The Legend of Zelda universe. They are usually the largest value Rupee in the games in which they appear.

Gold Rupees first appear in Ocarina of Time, where they are known as a Huge Rupee. They are worth 200 rupees each and there are Ten Set Locations where Link can collect a Huge Rupee. Huge Rupees retain the same name and value in Majora's Mask.

In Four Swords, Link can collect small golden Rupee Shards. They are worthless individually, but if Link collects four of them, he will gain a Gold Rupee, which is worth 500 rupees.

In Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks, the largest valued rupees are known as "Big Gold Rupees", worth 300 rupees a piece.
