The first three obtainable Gold Kinstone Pieces are found in Castor Wilds. They are scattered about and Link must fuse them with the Mysterious Statues in order to proceed to the Fortress of Winds.

The next available piece is obtainable after completing the Temple of Droplets. When Link travels to the Royal Crypt and meets King Gustaf, he gives the hero a piece to fuse at Veil Falls. The last five pieces are found in the Cloud Tops to gain access to the Palace of Winds.
