Goddess Sword
The Goddess Sword makes its first appearance in Skyward Sword.
The Goddess Sword itself, is named after Her Grace, the Goddess. This could notably point out a connection between the Goddess, and the Goddess Sword.
The sword is inhabited by the female spirit named Fi. Fi allows Link to use a new ability called dowsing. While using dowsing, Fi will lead Link (in a hot and cold fashion,) towards whatever item/person he chooses. The Goddess Sword can also take Link back and forth between Hyrule, and Skyloft.
If Link holds the sword skyward; it will allow him to perform a Sword Beam. If Link slices a Goddess Cube with the Goddess Sword, the cube will be sent to the sky, opening a treasure chest. A light will emit from the clouds, showing Link where the treasure chest is located.
