The Gnat Hat is an item that appears in Four Swords for the Game Boy Advance or Anniversary edition for the Nintendo 3DS. The red cap gives the Links the ability to shrink down to bug size and access areas unreachable before. While in the tiny state Link can walk through tunnels or logs that were too small before, stand on smaller moving platforms, or just use it to avoid being picked up by friends. Like the other items in the game, it is found on the various item podiums and must replace Link's current secondary item to be used.
