The Giant Ancient Core is a material found in Breath of the Wild. They can be obtained by defeating Guardian Stalkers, Skywatchers, and Turrets in battle, but the drop chance is fairly low. They can also be found in the occasional chest in Shrine of Trials. This material can be traded with Kilton, in his shop, the Fang and Bone, for 100 Mon each, but its main purpose is creating ancient equipment at the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab. Ancient Cores are used in the manufacture of the Ancient Shield, Ancient Bow, and the enhancement of the Ancient Armor to the final level, including the Ancient Helm, Cuirass, and Greaves.
