Giant's Knife

The Giant's Knife is an incredibly durable item that does twice as much damage as the Master Sword.

How to Get It

In order to get the Giant's Knife, Link must go to the second section where a stone wall blocks the way to the Medigoron's Blade Store. He must either blow the stone wall with the Bomb Flowers or with his own Bombs. When Link gets there, he can talk to Medigoron, who informs Link that he has finished his small word. As child, he said it would take 5-6 years to make it, but turns out to be completely useless. Link can purchase the sword for 200 Rupees, however, after hitting it on walls or other objects with 8 hits, it will break and make it the Broken Giant's Knife. When wielding it, Link cannot use his shield but can only bend down. After completing the Trading Sequence, Link will be rewarded with the Biggoron's Sword replacing the Giant's Knife. It has the same abilities but it will not break.
