"Hey, newcomer! This is our horseback archery field. After a lot of hard practice and training, we finally have the skill to hit the bullseye while riding like the wind! If you think your riding skills are up to it, you should come and try. It's a dangerous sport, but it's fun!"

— The Gerudo Master of Archery

The Gerudo Horseback Archery is a Mini-Game featured in Ocarina of Time. It is located in the Gerudo's Fortress. When Link enters the archery range, he can speak to the Gerudo there, who introduces herself as the master of archery, being the one that holds the highest record in Horseback Archery of the Gerudo. She runs the archery game during daytime for 20 Rupees. Link is required to have the Gerudo Membership Card and his horse Epona to participate.

Once the game is on, Link is equipped with 20 arrows and will ride through the range to shoot at the objectives. In this way Link doesn't control Epona. If Link shoots at the core of the targets, he will gain 100 points. Link also gains 100 points when shooting at the jars. If Link beats 1000+ points, he will be rewarded with a Piece of Heart. The Gerudo has a personal record of 1500 points, which if Link surpasses her highscore, he will be rewarded with a new upgraded Quiver.

In the Gerudo Society, those who have great skill in horseback riding and archery, are well respected.
