===Skyward Sword===

These familiar man-sized bird foes return in Skyward Sword, and seem to be encountered mostly in the Ancient Cistern. Their method of attack isn't shown but is likely that same as it is in other Zelda games, which is to swoop toward Link and peck at him. They appear to have loops hanging from them, making them resemble the ridable birds in Spirit Tracks, and clearly like those birds, Link will have to use the [[Whip]] to grab that loop, either to ride them or to defeat them... perhaps both.
