Freshly Picked: Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland is a spin-off game from the Zelda Series for the Nintendo DS handheld game console, developed by the Japanese company Vanpool and published by Nintendo. The popularity of the character Tingle in Japan prompted the development of his own game released on the 2nd of September, 2006. The game was granted a release in PAL format on the 14th of September, 2007 but never received a North American release, most likely due to the unpopularity of Tingle among western audiences.

Story

Still single at 35, Tingle sets off on a search for happiness!

One day, our hero hears a mysterious story... It says that only those who save their rupees and throw them into the Western Pool are sure to be led to the dreamy Rupeeland. Mesmerised by the tale and tired of his dull everyday existence, our hero becomes Tingle and sets out on a journey to collect all the rupees he can.

Tingle finds himself travelling through a harsh world where no one is to be trusted, and whose inhabitants all have an insatiable desire for rupees. He must learn how to hold his nerve in high-stakes negotiations and enter dangerous dungeons on the road to Rupeeland!
