"An extremely tough pumpkin raised in village fields. When cooked, that toughness manifests itself by considerably upping defense."
— In-Game Description
The Fortified Pumpkin is a material found in Breath of the Wild. They are grown in abundance in Kakariko Village, but can occasionally be found in forested areas of Necluda. Fortified Pumpkins will restore ½ of a heart when eaten raw, but if Link decides to cook it, it will become a Baked Fortified Pumpkin, which will restore more. They can also be used in a variety of Recipes, and they have an extra cooking effect of increased defense.
