In the first visit, you lose your sword after being shot out of a cannon and must sneak around and take out searchlights.
In the first visit, [[Link]] tries to rescue his sister, [[Aryll], and enlists the help of [[Tetra]] and her [[Tetra's Pirates|pirate crew]]. Since the fortress is heavily guarded by [[Bokoblin]]s with searchlights and patrolling [[Miniblin]]s and [[Moblin]s, they can't get their pirate ship close enough to drop you off there. Instead, they decide to shoot you out of a cannon inside a barrel, successfully getting you into the fortress but also making you lose your sword and smash into a wall. In order to get to the room where Aryll is being kept without Link's sword, Link must stealthily go around the fortress, taking out the searchlights one by one and avoiding any Miniblins or Moblins. Once he finally retrieves his sword and gets to Aryll's room however, the giant bird, the [[Helmaroc King]] takes Link and throws him into the sea, after showing him to his leader, [[Ganondorf]].you lose your sword after being shot out of a cannon and must sneak around and take out searchlights.

In the second visit, link takes revenge on all the guards he had to sneak past and goes to confront [[Ganon]].
Later in the game, when Link is more experienced, he returns to the Forsaken Fortress to finally save his little sister. This time he has his sword, so he has no problem getting back to the room where his sister is, after he defeats [[Phantom Ganon] and gets the [[Skull Hammer]]. When he gets to Aryll's room, Tetra and her pirates surprise him and take Aryll back to their ship, leaving Link to fight and finally defeat the Helmaroc King. After he is defeated, ink attempts to kill Ganondorf, but since the [[Master Sword]] has lost its power, he is unable to do at that time.
