The Flamebreaker Set is an Armor set from Breath of the Wild and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

Breath of the Wild

The pieces of the Flamebreaker Set have a base defense of 3 and make Link immune to burning air, such as whilst climbing Death Mountain.

In The Champions' Ballad DLC, the non-enhanced Flamebreaker Set will be given to Link in order to fight Fireblight Ganon in the Illusory Realm. However, the equipment will not be available once the Blight is defeated.

Equipment

Each of the pieces in the set can be bought from the Ripped and Shredded armor shop in Goron City for a total of 3300 Rupees.

The torso piece, the Flamebreaker Armor, can also be obtained by completing the Fireproof Lizard Roundup side quest.

Upgrades

The items in this set can be upgraded by a Great Fairy Fountain and cost Monster Parts to upgrade. Enhancing items requires that you have unlocked as many fountains as the desired star-level. Upgrading the entire set to at least ★★ level gives the Fireproof Set Bonus, meaning Link takes no damage from flame.

Trivia

The Flamebreaker Set is the only set in Breath of the Wild that doesn't have accessory or armor item alternatives in the base game, the DLC or the amiibo armor items.
The Set Bonus Fireproof cannot be gained through cooking meals, making it the only buff in the game with that condition. However, it can be attained through a Fireproof Elixir.
