"Often carried by fishermen for its fish design, which represents hope for a good catch. Its light wooden construction makes it convenient to take on a boat."

Breath of the Wild In-Game Description

The Fisherman's Shield is a shield found in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

The Fisherman's Shield has a base Shield Guard of 3, and can be found in various locations in Hyrule, but they are most common in the Necluda and Faron provinces of Hyrule. A unique design is painted on the shield face, namely, a graphic of a fish in blue. The construction of the shield is wooden, and has a close resemblance to the Wooden Shield.

It's also one of the rarest shields in the game, with only six being found in Hyrule, with one of them being found under a house in Lurelin Village. For the Hyrule Compendium one can be photographed on the wall of Selmie's Spot but cannot be taken.
