A character who makes an appearence in Twilight Princess. Faron is the second Light Spirit Link meets and the first saved from the Twilight. It is the master of the Faron Province, and it's spring is the location of the game's opening cutscene. It informs Link of his destiny as the chosen hero of Hyrule, and gives him the Hero's Clothes. Skyward Sword

Faron the Water Dragon is a large, blue reptile-like deity who resides in the Faron area in Skyward Sword (hense the name). She is one of the three Dragons that gaurd the land below the Sky. The other two of which are Lanayru the Thunder Dragon and Eldin the Fire Dragon. Throughout the game she stays very sceptacle of Link's abilities and is a very important character in the whole story of Skyward Sword. She is also very strict about manners and will often correct the hero for being impolite. After completing the Silent Realm of the Faron Woods, Link will be rewarded with the Water Dragon's Scale, an item that belongs to the Water Dragon and allows him to swim underwater and do spin-attacks while paddling along. Faron can be found deep within the Lake Floria area in the large main-room. Furthermore, she reveals the path to the Ancient Cistern, the fourth dungeon of the game. She also teaches Link the first part of the Song of the Hero later in the story of the game. To do this, Link must obtain the Tadnotes as instructed by Faron.
