Eyegore are enemies that appear in multiple Zelda games.

Appearances

A Link to the Past

In A Link to the Past, Eyegores are found in several dungeons, both in the Light World and Dark World. When Link encounters them, their eye is closed and they are frozen in place like a statue. When he gets near one, it will open its eye and come to life momentarily. This is the only time they can be damaged. The green Eyegore can be damaged with Link's sword. The red variant, however, is only able to be defeated with the Bow.

Majora's Mask

It's an Eyegore.
Simply attacking it is no good.
I say you should pay attention to
the subtle changes in its eye.

The Eyegore's only 3D appearance is in Majora's Mask. There is only one in the game, which can be found within Stone Tower Temple as a Mini-Boss. He can shoot laser beams from his eyes and smash his arms on the ground if Link gets close to him.
