EX Trial of the Sword is a Side Quest included in The Master Trials DLC for Breath of the Wild. Once the DLC is purchased, it is unlocked by clearing The Hero's Sword Main Quest and obtaining the Master Sword.

To begin, the Master Sword must be returned to its pedestal in front of the Great Deku Tree in Korok Forest to enter the Trial of the Sword.
