Don't let any ally flee.
All allies start with low health and will be split up, so defeat all large enemies in your path as you make your way to the targeted position. After defeating the Malice Moblin, a Yiga Blademaster will stay behind and close the gate in the southeast. Defeating the two Ice Moblins in the outpost on the boardwalk section in the east will make three Hollows appear. Make your way back to the Yiga Blademaster in the southeast and the gate will open. Defeat the other Hollows and other large enemies as you continue towards the targeted position. Avoid Windblight Ganon and Thunderblight Ganon in the north.

- Unlock Sooga as a playable character.

"After a counterattack by the Hyrulean army and those who had traveled from beyond time, the seer turned on the Yiga Clan and sacrificed its members as offerings in order to enhance Calamity Ganon's power even further."

"Sooga and Master Kohga flee their pursuers. As Sooga pushes forward with grave injuries, he recalls the day he met Master Kohga. With a debt of gratitude in his heart, Sooga musters the very last of his strength."

There are 9 treasure chests found in EX The Yiga Clan's Retreat. Note: These chests are shared with The Road Home, Besieged. Collecting a chest from either scenario will remove it from the other.
Hearty Bass x10 On the eastern side of the map, on the eastern side of the boardwalk, at the end of a pier. 
Luminous Stone x3 In the center of the map, along the left side of the eastern branch. 
100 Rupees In the southernmost area of the map, next to a large log. 
300 Rupees In the north-central area of the map, at the end of a short path, near a ledge. 
Stone Smasher In the eastern area of the map, on the western side of the boardwalk, behind a stack of boxes. 
Soldier's Bow In the southeastern area of the map, just before the boardwalk, at the end of an alcove. 
Moonlight Scimitar In the northeastern area of the map, after exiting the outpost with the Silver Lynel, head east towards the river. 
Zora Spear In the northwestern area of the map, near the northwestern outpost, next to a large tree. 
Knight's Halberd On the eastern side of the map, just after exiting the boardwalk, follow the shoreline to the North. Use Magnesis.
