EX Royal Ancient Lab is a service in Age of Calamity that offers a number of special quests. As indicated by the "EX" tag, it is unlocked by purchasing the Expansion Pass DLC as part of Wave 1 - Pulse of the Ancients. Notable rewards for completing quests from the lab include the Flail weapon for Link, the Master Cycle weapon for Zelda, and the playable warrior Battle-Tested Guardian.
