Trade for the Dumbbell

"You got a Doggie Mask! A dog-lover will love it![1]"

— In-Game Description

The Doggie Mask is the fifth item in the Trading Sequence of Oracle of Ages.

In the Present, Link can navigate to the place north of the Black Tower, where he will find the Lynna City Shop. While there, Link can continue walking to the left until he finds staircases, which he can walk up in order to find a bridge. He can then continue walking to the left to find the Happy Mask Shop. When Link enters the shop and talks to the Happy Mask Salesman, he will say that he is very hungry and that his stomach hurts.[2] He will then become infuriated about the hunger.[3] When Link gives him the Tasty Meat, he will reward Link with the Doggie Mask in return. [4][5][6]

The Doggie Mask is later traded to Mamamu Yan for the Dumbbell.
