The Diamond Circlet is a headgear found in Breath of the Wild. It has a base defense of 4 and decreases damage taken from Guardian laser attacks.
Armor Set
The Ancient Set (also including Ancient Cuirass and Ancient Greaves) increases damage done to Guardians, when all equipped pieces have been upgraded at least twice.
Diamond Circlet works identically as a Ancient Helm.
Upgrade path
Upgrading Armor requires that you have unlocked as many Great Fairy Fountain as the desired star-level.
