Diamond Circlet

The Diamond Circlet is a headgear found in Breath of the Wild. It has a base defense of 4 and decreases damage taken from Guardian laser attacks. The circlet can be purchased from Starlight Memories, the jewelry shop in Gerudo Town, for 1,500 Rupees, plus 3 Diamonds.
This item can also be found in the hidden basement of the Lomei Labyrinth Island, located in the center of the room. Upon opening the chest, many of the Decayed Guardians in the room will awaken and take aim at Link.
Usage
In terms of effects, the Diamond Circlet is somewhat interchangeable with the Ancient Helm as part of the Ancient Set, and follows the same strength levels. However, procuring diamonds may prove more time consuming in comparison, as the Helm requires ancient parts to upgrade.
On top of that, the Circlet does not contribute to the Ancient Set's guardian proficiency buff for Ancient and Guardian Weapons. As such, the Circlet is assumed to be used with other gear to provide protection against guardians as part of individual armor items that are not part of sets (like the Champion's Tunic).
Alongside the Amber Earrings, the fully-enhanced Diamond Circlet has the highest defense of all jeweled headgear, but the earrings have no bonus effects.
Enhance Path
Enhancing Armor requires that Link has unlocked as many Great Fairy Fountains as the desired star-level.
