David Jr. is a character from The Wind Waker and The Minish Cap.
The Wind Waker
David Jr. washed ashore onto Tingle Tower at the age of 17 after a shipwreck. He and Tingle's younger brother, Ankle, were then forced to work for Tingle. David Jr. wears a white version of Tingle's signature outfit. If Link uses the Tingle Tuner, and talks to David Jr., he makes a comment about Tingle being kinder when Link contacts him. If Link completes the Knuckle GBA event at Outset Island, Knuckle will replace David Jr.
The Minish Cap
David Jr. returns in The Minish Cap and can be found on a small tree stump in Lake Hylia. He will only appear after Link has fused a Kinstone with Tingle in South Hyrule Field. Fusing Kinstones with David Jr. causes a tree to become accessible in North Hyrule Field. After Link fuses Kinstones with Tingle, David Jr. Ankle and Knuckle, all four trees will be accessible in North Hyrule Field and it will lead to Link acquiring the Magical Boomerang.
He is one of many characters willing to fuse Kinstones with Link.[1] He questions why he is helping Tingle even though they are not kindred.[2] Even after fusing the initial Kinstone with David Jr., Link can fuse random green Kinstones with David Jr.
Link is able to return to David Jr. at anytime to speak with him in which he will let Link know how many possible Kinstone fusions there are remaining in the world.

Tingle's Balloon Fight DS
David Jr. is one of playable character in multi-player mode (2-4 players) of Tingle's Balloon Fight DS. Other players play as Tingle, Ankle, and Knuckle.
