Daval Peak is a location in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

Located at the far south end of the Gerudo Highlands, just south of Mount Granajh and east of the South Lomei Labyrinth, Deval Peak's higher elevations are a bit cold and Link will need Cold Resistance in order to survive.

Unsurprisingly given the climate, there are largely cold-weathered animals and enemies, such as Cold-Footed Wolves and Ice-Breath Lizalfos. Between 6am and 6pm everyday, the area has abundant sunshine, with more variable weather taking place in the late evening and overnight hours.

At the southwest area of the peak, there is a treasure chest buried in the snow. Link can pull it out with Magnesis to find a Purple Rupee.

Secret of the Snowy Peaks

Main article: Secret of the Snowy Peaks

On the side of the peak to the north, there is a pedestal. After reading the Mountain Peak Log at the cabin just to the north, this will begin the Secret of the Snowy Peaks shrine quest. At 4pm, Link will need to hold a snowball up, with its shadow casting right at the center of the pedestal. Successfully doing so will complete the shrine quest, revealing the Suma Sahma Shrine.

Tears of the Kingdom

The Daval Peak can be found at the far south end of the mountain arrangement in the Gerudo region, just south of Mount Granajh. It is subject to extreme temperatures, requiring Link to have Heat Resistance during the day and Cold Resistance during nighttime.

Korok Seeds

  • On the higher plateau, there are two large block structures that are visible from a distance. Use Ultrahand to move the blocks so the two structures match to get the Korok Seed.
  • On the southern plateau, there is a rock arrangement on the ground. There are two rocks in the middle of the rectangle here. Take these two and line them up to connect to the line of rocks to the north to get the Korok Seed.
