The Darknut Battle is the third stage of Level 8 in Link's Crossbow Training. This level controls as a Ranger level and as its name suggests, Link battles with a Darknut.
The Darknut enemy has appeared in many of the early Zelda games from The Legend of Zelda to Twilight Princess. It is a fully armoured mascot and its weak spot is at his back, he is a fairly tough enemy and has developed in each game. In Twilight Princess he appears 4 times throughout the whole game,in the Temple of Time, Hyrule Castle and Cave of Ordeals.
