Daphnes was revealed to [[Link]] as the [[King of Red Lions]]. He was in the form of a bright red boat in the shape of a lion. They encountered one another at [[Windfall Island]]. He accompanies Link in that form throughout the whole game. He gives various advice to help [[Link]] in his journey. (SPOILER) Daphnes first reveals himself in his [[Hylian]] form when he awakens Tetra as Princess [[Zelda]]. He appears again at the end of the game when the final battle between Link and Ganondorf is ocurring. After defeating Ganondorf, Daphnes appears to Link and Zelda saying how he regrets what has happened in his past. He tells Link and Zelda that they must find hope and to walk the path of hope through the darkness that will come. He asks for forgiveness and says goodbye to Link and Zelda, drowning Hyrule with him and sending Link and Zelda to the world above.

Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule is a character from The Wind Waker. He is the king of the flooded Hyrule.

History

Daphnes was revealed to Link as the King of Red Lions. He was in the form of a bright red boat in the shape of a lion. They encountered one another at Windfall Island. He accompanies Link in that form throughout the whole game. He gives various advice to help Link in his journey. (SPOILER) Daphnes first reveals himself in his Hylian form when he awakens Tetra as Princess Zelda.
