Characteristics and Weaknesses
Craniocs are fish enemies that can be found in Lake Floria, Lanayru Sand Sea, and Faron Woods. They turn red and charge at Link when he is nearby. Craniocs use large bulbous crowns in their heads to attack prey and settle disputes with another of its species.
Craniocs inhabit aquatic environments, such as Lake Floria, Lanayru Sand Sea and the Flooded Faron Woods. In his assault on Lake Floria, Ghirahim commanded the Craniocs to attack the Water Dragon Faron and the local Parella.<ref>{{cite|Eeep! Don't eat me! Whaaa? You don't want to gobble me up? Their heads bear large, bulbous crowns, which they use to attack prey and settle disputes between others of their species by tackling one another. If a Cranioc spots Link, it will turn red and charge at the young hero. To defeat them, Link must spin into them, which will cause them to be stunned and flip over, exposing their scarred underbellies. After this, Link only needs to charge into them once more to kill them.
To defeat this enemy, Link must perform the Spin Attack, causing it to flip over and become stunned. Link must then perform another spin at the "X" on Cranioc's head, defeating it in the process.
