— In-Game Description

The Climbing Gear is a piece of armor found in Breath of the Wild. It can be found in the Chaas Qeta Shrine, on the small Tenoko Island in the Necluda Sea, or, alternatively, it can be purchased from Granté in Tarrey Town for 4000 Rupees. It has a base defense of 3, but its main use is to climb walls and cliffs at a faster pace.

Armor Set

The Climber's Set (also including Climber's Bandanna and Climbing Boots) greatly reduces stamina cost of jumping while climbing if all equipped pieces have been enhanced at least twice.

Enhance Path

Enhancing Armor requires that Link has unlocked as many Great Fairy Fountains as the desired star-level.
