Chiko's Mum is a character from Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland.
Overview
She is the only shop owner in Port Town that isn't initially scared of Tingle. She won't require Tingle to pay any Rupees in order to initially talk to him. She is the mother of Chiko, her daughter who can be found crying at the end of Port Town as she lost her Fairy Doll. Her daughters loves fairies so much and was all that she would talk about. Chiko's Mum eventually gave in and made her a doll. However, Chiko had since lost it and had mentioned something about a Fish Rock, located just northwest of town.[1]
After Tingle helps her daughter, Chiko's Mum will thank Tingle as this means she doesn't have to make another Fairy Doll for her daughter.[2] As a sign of thanks, Chiko's Mum will offer Tingle a reward in an amount of Tingle's choosing. However, if Tingle is too greedy and asks for too many rupees, Chiko's Mum will change her mind and not give him anything.[3] Tingle can ask for up to 60 Rupees and she will give it to him. Anything more, and she'll think Tingle is too greedy.
