Charlo is the poor beggar in the Castle Town East Road of Castle Town in Twilight Princess. He asks Link nicely for spare Rupees, claiming it is "for the sake of Hyrule", and Link can either give him 30 or 50 at a time.[1] If Link does not have 30 rupees, but still tries to donate them, Charlo will lambaste him, calling him a callous youth, telling him that one must work before praying for peace.[2]
After Link has given Charlo a total of 1,000 Rupees, Link will receive a Piece of Heart, which descends upon him from above.[3]
