Castle Town (also known as Market in Ocarina of Time and Hyrule Town in The Minish Cap) is a town featuring various shops that Link can use to buy items. This is one of the main towns in most Zelda games.

A mini game playable there in Twilight Princess is the Star Game.

In it, there are numerous games and shops. In Twilight Princess, there was Telma's Bar, which was the base of the knights of Hyrule. It was also the place where Ilia was discovered after being captured by bulblins.

It has always been (yes, even in Spirit Tracks) that the northernmost exit leads to Hyrule Castle.

Castle town is very central to the plot, most of the time.
