Cannon

The cannon is a recurring object in the Zelda series. The most common use of a cannon is to shoot bombs from a train and/or boat. The cannon first appeared in The Wind Waker where link used on his boat as a weapon. The cannon made several other appearances, including Twilight Princess, Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks and Skyward Sword. It also appeared in a spin-off game, Color-Changing Tingle's Love Balloon Trip.

After Link obtains bombs, the King of Red Lions facilitates the use of the cannon. the cannon shots extremely far for such a small boat and is especially useful for fighting off Gyorg sharks, octoroks and seahats. It is also required to beat the Eye reefs.
