Bushy-Tailed Squirrel

"These small creatures are known for their large tails. They tend to live in forests and subsist on acorns and other nuts. They carry their food in their mouths but will sometimes drop it when surprised in an adorable display of shock."

— Hyrule Compendium Entry

A Bushy-Tailed Squirrel is an animal found in Breath of the Wild. They can be spotted hiding in dense forests around Hyrule, and can be easily identified by their long, bushy tail. They can be found early on within the Great Plateau, located in the Forest of Spirits. In some areas of the world, Squirrels can be seen picking up Chickaloo Tree Nuts.

When Link moves to close to a squirrel it will quickly sprint away. Link can defeat the squirrel by shooting it with an Arrow. When defeated, the bushy-tailed squirrel will drop an Acorn.
