The Broom is an item featured in Link's Awakening as part of the fourteen-item Trading Sequence. Link obtains the Broom by delivering the Letter to Mr. Write, who then gives Link the Broom in return.[1][2] After Link receives the Broom, he can take it down to Mabe Village and speak to Grandma Yahoo. She is extremely excited when Link brings her a new Broom, claiming that her old one broke.[3][4]. She gives Link the Fishing Hook, which she claims to have found while sweeping the river bank.[5]
