The Broadsword is a weapon in Cadence of Hyrule. Link, Zelda, and Cadence can wield it.

The Broadsword, like all base weapons, deals only one point of damage per hit. However, it can damage three adjacent enemies in the direction the character is facing. Due to this fact, it is ideal for crowd control. Enemies that deal area damage can still cause trouble, however. It can be enhanced with obsidian, ruby, titanium, or emerald to make it more powerful.
Later on, the heroes can find Fragarach, one of the legendary weapons not from a canonical game. This weapon deals two points of damage per hit, and cannot be enhanced.
At the start of a new playthrough, there is a Broadsword for sale in the Game Over Shop for six diamonds. Furthermore, Cadence can find one in the Template:Tutorial Dungeon, but she loses it and her Template:Dagger after entering Hyrule proper.
