This article is about the bridge from Breath of the Wild. For the bridge from Twilight Princess, see Great Bridge of Hylia.

Bridge of Hylia is a location in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. It is a massive bridge that extends across Lake Hylia, southeast of the Great Plateau Tower, and directly north of the Lake Tower.

Breath of the Wild

While many of the columns beneath the bridge have crumbled, the majority of the bridge is still intact. The bridge follows that pathway that leads south and east to the Highland Stable, Lakeside Stable, and all the way east to Lurelin Village.

A large fountain is still fairly intact, located at the center of the bridge. There are three enemy Lizalfos in the area that disrupt Link as he passes by. There is a broken down wagon on the bridge, where Link can find an Amber gem if he examines it. There is also a Rusty Claymore and Rusty Halberd on the ground beside the wagon.

There are a number of treasure chests surrounding the Bridge of Hylia.

  • Shock Arrows x5 - North of the center of the bridge, the treasure chest is on top of one of the broken pillars, beneath the bridge.
  • Zora Spear - In a chest near the fountain.
  • Arrows x5 - On a higher ledge, just beneath the fountain at the center of the bridge on the southwest side.

Tears of the Kingdom

While the bridge is still a ruin, a Flame Gleeok has settled in the center of the bridge, next to the fountain. Early on his quest, the Flame Gleeok can be a serious obstacle and it is not recommended that Link travel to the area until he is well equipped with upgraded weaponry and armor.

North of the Bridge of Hylia, right along the path, Addison can be found holding a Hudson Sign. Link can use the nearby Lumber to hold up the sign. As a thanks for helping him, Addison will reward Link with a Red Rupee, some Rapid Meaty Rice Balls, and a Puffshroom.
