Blue Tunic: Difference between revisions

In ''Link's Awakening'', the Blue Tunic serves a completely different purpose than in ''Ocarina of Time''. Firstly, it is not required to complete the game and is optional to acquire. You can only get this tunic in the ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX|DX]]'' version of this game in the [[Color Dungeon]]. After completing the [[dungeon]], the [[Great Fairy]] will give Link an option to have more power or defense.{{Ref|LADX|15|Great Fairy}} The Blue Tunic will grant him double defense, while the [[Red Tunic]] doubles his attack. It is advisable to choose the blue tunic, because the game does not have the abilty to show quarter heart damage, therefore making link invincible to all enemies who do half heart damage.
