The Binding Force is a protective magical seal placed on the Great Palace to protect the Triforce of Courage from all but the most pure hero.[1] Once Link returns the Crystals to the six palaces and braves the Valley of Death,[2] the Binding Force will give way and allow him to attempt the one final challenge.[3] Should Link attempt to pass through the Binding Force before placing all six Crystals, the magical force field will repel him and deal considerable damage.
