The Biggoron Sword was an optional item in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It was earned by completeing a long trading sequence that invovled time limits, and other difficult obstacles. It is so big it requires 2 hands to hold it. Thus, Link is not able to use his sheild while using The Biggoron Sword. The trade-off for not being able to use your shield is that it does more damage than any other weapon in the game.
