Breath of the Wild

Benny is a traveling adventurer who can be found on top of a plateau, at the northeast end of the East Ranch Ruins, which is just southwest of Rebonae Bridge.

The area she is located is at the edge of Hyrule Field and it is a rather dangerous area to be, due to the Guardian Stalkers that are found in the surrounding area. She is very surprised to see Link when he arrives.[1] Benny understands that there are a lot of monsters in the area, making it a very dangerous place to be, but she is out searching for some treasure. Benny purposely tries to climb up to higher vantage points like the plateau, as it gives her a good look around the area.[2]

Benny allows Link to take any of the goods that are around her Cooking Pot which include an Apple and some Hylian Rice. Link can also find some Arrows, a Seared Steak, and a Roasted Bird Drumstick in the wooden creates nearby. Benny invites Link to use the Cooking Pot if he so chooses.[3]

Tears of the Kingdom

Benny can still be found adventuring in Tears of the Kingdom at a campsite near Horon Lagoon. Upon approaching her location she can be seen battling a Blue Bokoblin, assisting her in defeating it will earn you her thanks[4] and she rewards Link with some Steamed Tomatoes.

She goes on to talk about her investigation of the Geoglyphs and the Dragons.[5][6]

Benny can also be found on Washa's Bluff, where she is fighting off a Bokoblin. She is also found at the Horon Lagoon, where she is batttling with a Blue Bokoblin. At the Horon Lagoon, she is looking for the geoglyph that is in the area.[7] The geoglyph she is referring to is just to the east on the Talus Plateau.

Benny is also fighting a Black Bokoblin on the Taafei Hill. She is looking for the Geoglyph, which can be found just to the west on the cliffside, south of Sapphia's Table. She's also at the Palmorae Beach, where she's being attacked by a Black Bokoblin. She'll give Link some Tomato Mushroom Stew for helping her out.[8] The Geoglyph she is looking for is just to the southwest on the Gogobi Shores.

  2. "Who am I? As you can see, I am a traveling adventurer, much like yourself. I'm sure our kind are found all over. People rarely come to places like this, so there are lots of monsters. It's really pretty dangerous... But it's all worthwhile when you stumble upon some treasure just lying around! That's why I try to climb up to great vantage points like this! They're swell places for spotting anything suspicious. See that rock over there? You should stand on it and look around-I bet you'll spot something suspicious." — Benny, Breath of the Wild

I invite you to help yourself to any of the cooking ingredients around here! Feel free to use that cooking pot, too!" — Benny, Breath of the Wild

  5. "Say, are you aware of the mystery of the geoglyphs that have sprung up all ver the world after the Upheaval? I'm an adventurer looking into those geoglyphs. Even if I haven't made much progress yet. I came here because I heard that people have seen a geoglyph in the area. But I've walked up and down these hills and not found any trace of it. No use complaining though. I'll rest a bit and pick up the search again soon. Maybe I'll see you again wihle I'm at it. Stay safe, traveler!" — Benny, Tears of the Kingdom
  6. "I'm still chasing down the mystery of those geoglyphs that appeared after the Upheaval. I've already found the one in this area, so as long as I'm here, I'm delving into the mystery of the dragons. The latest I've heard is that some people have seen dragons dancing in the sky before disappearing into the earth. And on the flipside, others say they've seen dragons rising up out of the ground! What do you think that's about? If the dragons are on the surface, they should be easy to spot. Guess this dragon mystery has more depth than I thought. Chatting with you has got me fired up with the spirit of inquiry! I'm gonna head out again after resting for a bit. Hope to see you around!" — Benny, Tears of the Kingdom
  7. "Oh, hey, it's you! And so we meet again. I'm still chasing down the biggest mystery in Hyrule—the geoglyphs. I rushed over as soon as I heard the rumors that a geoglyph was spotted around here. I take it that if you're here, you're after the same thing. Well? I nailed it, didn't I? The problem is, I've walked all around this area but haven't found the geoglyph that brought me here. But complaining about it won't get any results. I'll rest for a bit and pick up the search again soon. See you around! And best of luck in your travels." — Benny, Tears of the Kingdom
  8. "I thought my story was over for sure this time. But thanks to you, the Legend of Benny continues! This is for saving me!" — Benny, Tears of the Kingdom
