Bio-electric Anemone: Barinade, more simply known as Barinade, is a giant jellyfish-like creature and the boss of the third dungeon in Ocarina of Time. Defeating this villainous creature will help Link save Ruto, and eventually acquire one of the Spiritual Stones, the Zora's Sapphire.

Battle

This giant jellyfish-like creature appears as soon as Link enters the boss room. He must use the Boomerang in order to defeat Barinade. First, he must detach Barinade from the ceiling with the aid of the Boomerang. The Boomerang must strike its vulnerable foundation, paralyzing it and allowing the young hero to slash away at it. Link must also avoid the Bari spinning around Barinade while performing this task, otherwise he will be electrocuted.[1] After some time passes, it will stop and shoot laser beams at Link which he must avoid. It then begins to move rapidly around the arena. Link must continually strike it with the Boomerang and go in for the kill with his Sword.

Reward

If Link is successful in defeating Barinade, he will be rewarded with a Heart Container. Once he collects said item, he will meet with Ruto who will then bestow upon him the third and final Spiritual Stone, Zora's Sapphire.[2][3]
